Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. has unveiled a series of innovative aerial work platforms (AWPs), including the world’s tallest straight boom AWP, the ZT82J. This groundbreaking machine reaches an impressive working height of 82.3 metres, solidifying Zoomlion’s position as a global leader in the AWP sector. The release marks a significant milestone in the company’s ongoing efforts to innovate and expand its global presence.

The ZT82J is the third in a line of world record-setting straight boom AWPs from Zoomlion, following the success of its 68-metre and 72-metre models. It features a platform amplitude of 34.1 metres, a maximum working load of 454 kilograms, and a climbing capacity of 35%. Alongside its remarkable height and reach, the ZT82J integrates advanced safety features, boasting ultra-long boom composite movement, double-cylinder synergistic control technology, and 21 built-in safety measures to ensure reliable and secure operation in demanding conditions.

In addition to the ZT82J, Zoomlion has also introduced the ZT51JEH, an extended-range electric straight boom AWP. The ZT51JEH reaches a working height of 50.6 metres and supports the same 454-kilogram load capacity. It offers flexibility for both urban indoor projects and outdoor worksites by operating in electric or diesel modes. When fully charged or refuelled, the ZT51JEH can operate for more than seven days, addressing the endurance limitations often faced by pure electric products in construction.

For projects requiring versatile spanning capabilities, Zoomlion has launched the ZA42J, its largest crank boom AWP to date. This model features a spanning height of 24.5 metres and a working height of 44.03 metres, powered by multi-stage cylinder telescoping technology. The ZA42J’s fast lifting and probing functions make it well-suited for a variety of operational demands, offering increased efficiency and flexibility on job sites.

Expanding its portfolio, Zoomlion also offers a range of telehandlers, with seven models available in both fixed and rotary types. These telehandlers are capable of reaching heights from 6 to 25 metres and lifting loads between 2.5 and 4.5 tonnes. The telehandlers are compatible with various attachments, such as forks, buckets, and spreader platforms, making them adaptable for a wide range of applications.

In addition to its machinery, Zoomlion is advancing safety and operational management in the sector. The company introduced intelligent wearable safety equipment, an advanced AWP management system, and a global spare parts shop. During bauma CHINA 2024, Zoomlion secured over 20 new orders from clients across regions including Australia, Latin America, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, further expanding its international reach.

As it continues to innovate, Zoomlion remains committed to providing reliable and efficient solutions that enhance safety and productivity in the construction industry. With its new range of AWPs and telehandlers, the company is poised to maintain its position at the forefront of the aerial work platform market.
