Netradyne, a leading provider of artificial intelligence (AI) technology solutions for fleet and driver safety, has announced a strategic partnership with Roos Fleetservice GmbH, a prominent fleet management company based in Germany. The partnership aims to introduce Netradyne’s flagship Driver•i technology to Roos Fleetservice’s European clients, marking a significant step towards improving road safety and fleet management in the European Union (EU).
Driver•i, a cutting-edge system developed by Netradyne, leverages AI, machine learning (ML), and edge computing to monitor and assess driving behaviour in real-time. It processes vast amounts of data to enhance vehicle safety standards by analysing 100% of driving time, providing a comprehensive view of driver performance. With over 15 billion miles of driving data already processed, the technology offers precise and reliable insights, boasting a 99% accuracy rate in detecting safety risks.
The system aims to reduce false alerts and increase trust among drivers, making it a valuable tool for both fleet operators and drivers who want a clearer picture of their on-road performance. Driver•i is already in use in several global markets, including the U.S., the U.K., Canada, India, Australia, New Zealand, and Germany. Its implementation in Europe through this partnership is expected to set new safety benchmarks for fleet management across the continent.
The collaboration with Roos Fleetservice, part of the Roos Vehicle Logistics GmbH group, is seen as a significant development for both companies. Roos is well-established in the fleet management sector, providing a range of services including on-site installation and maintenance. By partnering with Netradyne, Roos will now offer its clients a powerful AI-driven safety solution, designed to optimise fleet operations while enhancing road safety.
Durgadutt Nedungadi, Senior Vice-President for International Business at Netradyne, expressed his optimism about the collaboration. “We see immense potential in our partnership with Roos to elevate vehicle safety standards and optimise fleet management across Europe through innovative technology,” he said. He emphasised the role of Driver•i’s GreenZone feature, a driver scoring system that uses positive reinforcement to encourage safe driving practices. The system not only helps fleets monitor safety but also rewards good driving behaviour, creating a safer driving culture across the board.
Maximilian Lorbach, CEO of Roos Fleetservice, echoed these sentiments, stating, “Teaming up with Netradyne to introduce Driver•i to our European clients underscores our commitment to providing state-of-the-art fleet solutions that drive efficiency and safety for organisations of all sizes. Together, we aim to set new standards in vehicle safety and fleet management throughout the EU.”
The partnership highlights the growing importance of AI in modern fleet management, as companies seek more efficient and reliable ways to monitor safety and performance. With the EU placing increasing focus on road safety, this collaboration is well-positioned to address both regulatory requirements and the operational needs of fleet operators across the region.
Netradyne’s expansion into Europe through Roos Fleetservice is expected to further solidify its position as a global leader in AI-based fleet safety solutions, bringing advanced technology to a wider audience and helping to reduce road accidents through smarter, more informed fleet management.
