Star Platforms, a prominent powered access hire company in the UK, has been awarded re-accreditation for three key ISO standards: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015. The certifications recognise the company’s continued commitment to quality management, health and safety, and environmental sustainability across its operations.

The accreditation process, which took place over three days, included comprehensive audits conducted by the British Assessment Bureau at multiple operational depots nationwide. The assessment yielded no non-conformances or corrective actions, reaffirming the effectiveness of the company’s processes and procedures.

Del Patterson, the QHSE Manager at Star Platforms, spoke about the significance of the re-accreditation. “The re-accreditation process was challenging, but it was clear that the systems we have in place are working effectively. The auditors were impressed with our commitment to high standards, and this success shows that we are serious about our responsibilities to our clients, employees, and the environment,” he said.

The ISO 9001:2015 certification confirms that Star Platforms has a strong quality management system focused on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. ISO 45001:2018 highlights the company’s dedication to maintaining high standards of health and safety for both employees and customers, while ISO 14001:2015 reflects its ongoing efforts to minimise environmental impact.

Steve Simmons, Joint Managing Director of Star Platforms, expressed his pride in the achievement. “Gaining these ISO standards is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. These certifications highlight our commitment to delivering outstanding service, maintaining a safe workplace, and prioritising sustainability across all operations,” he remarked.

With operations across the UK, Star Platforms is a leading supplier of powered access hire solutions, offering a comprehensive range of equipment for various industries. By retaining these prestigious ISO accreditations, the company ensures that its services continue to meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility, benefitting clients, employees, and the wider community.
