XCMG, a global leader in construction machinery, is set to unveil its latest hybrid all-terrain crane, the XCA60_EV, at the 2024 JDL Expo in France. Running from 25th to 27th September, the expo will highlight XCMG’s continued commitment to providing “Reliable, Powerful, and Durable” solutions for the lifting industry.

This year’s showcase will see the introduction of the XCA60_EV, a crane that marks a significant leap forward in the electrification of hoisting equipment. The XCA60_EV is designed to appeal to today’s environmentally conscious market, boasting zero emissions and reduced noise levels, which make it particularly suited to urban environments.

One of the standout features of the XCA60_EV is its advanced multi-energy supply system. Combining a traditional diesel engine with electric motors, the crane can operate in fully electric mode, significantly reducing operating costs by as much as 40%. The crane is also equipped with a 400V AC plug-and-play function and a 170kW motor, allowing it to adapt easily to different operational conditions.

The intelligent control system incorporated into the XCA60_EV provides precise manoeuvrability and enhanced safety, ensuring smooth performance even under challenging conditions. This is paired with a compact design, making the crane ideal for navigating narrow streets and confined spaces in densely populated urban areas.

In terms of performance, the XCA60_EV offers a maximum lifting capacity of 60 tonnes and a 48-metre boom, making it versatile enough for a wide range of construction tasks. Further enhancing its appeal is the revolutionary G2 cab design, which provides drivers with an unmatched level of comfort and operational efficiency. The cab features larger windows that offer improved visibility, contributing to safer operation on construction sites.

XCMG’s presence at the JDL Expo reflects its ongoing commitment to the European market. The company has been steadily expanding its footprint across Europe, opening local service centres and strengthening its partnerships with key distributors to offer better support to its customers. XCMG sees the launch of the XCA60_EV as an important step in meeting the growing demand for eco-friendly, high-performance construction equipment in Europe.

With the unveiling of the XCA60_EV at the JDL Expo, XCMG aims to further solidify its position as a leading provider of sustainable lifting solutions in the region. The company is confident that the hybrid crane’s innovative features, combined with its environmental credentials, will set new standards in the industry.

Attendees at the JDL Expo in France will have the opportunity to see the XCA60_EV in action and explore how XCMG is shaping the future of construction machinery with its cutting-edge technology and environmentally friendly approach.
