AITO, a high-end electric vehicle brand from China, has completed an impressive 38-day journey across the Eurasian continent, covering approximately 15,000 kilometres from Chongqing to Paris. This expedition showcased the reliability and performance of AITO’s vehicles, including the AITO 9, AITO 7, and AITO 5, as part of the brand’s participation in the 90th Paris Motor Show under the theme “Intelligence Redefining Luxury.”

The “Eurasian Tour with AITO” convoy traversed 12 countries, illustrating the brand’s commitment to delivering leading intelligent mobility experiences worldwide. The highlight of the event was the display of a special AITO 9, which successfully navigated complex road conditions and extreme environments throughout the long expedition.

During the tour, AITO faced significant challenges, particularly in regions with limited charging infrastructure. However, the brand’s Super Range-extender technology provided a solution, ensuring a reliable power supply while delivering the performance of a pure electric vehicle. This innovative technology addressed common concerns regarding range anxiety and facilitated ultra-long driving distances. AITO’s comprehensive safety features, including a robust body structure and extensive active safety functions, significantly enhanced on-road safety during the expedition.

AITO’s intelligent driving assistance technology played a crucial role in reducing driver fatigue during long-distance travel, managing approximately 8,800 kilometres of the total journey. Furthermore, the brand’s intelligent parking system garnered attention, allowing vehicles to navigate narrow parking spaces with ease and offering remote parking assistance. This feature proved popular with local residents along the tour, highlighting AITO’s innovative approach to user-friendly technology.

Central to AITO’s product line is the versatile AITO MF Platform, which boasts four key characteristics: Intelligent Safety, Diverse Powertrain, Adaptable Cabin Space, and Leading Intelligence. This platform supports multiple power options, including Super Range-extended Electric, Battery Electric, and Ultra Hybrid, positioning AITO as a pioneer in the industry. It is notably the only platform compatible with all three new energy power systems, providing consumers with an “enjoyable, convenient, and secure” driving experience.

The Super Range-extender technology, backed by the AITO MF Platform, achieves impressive thermal efficiency and fuel-to-electric conversion rates. Designed for various driving scenarios, this technology provides electric power for city travel while allowing for easy refuelling during inter-city trips. It delivers performance on par with traditional internal combustion engines while maintaining a quiet cabin and smooth handling, making it an attractive option for consumers.

AITO’s commitment to quality is underpinned by advanced intelligent manufacturing techniques. The brand utilises a proprietary digital platform that interconnects production equipment with data, employing over 3,000 robots to achieve 100% automation in key processes. This approach ensures industry-leading production efficiency, contributing to flexible and intelligent manufacturing practices. AITO’s use of a 10,000-ton die-casting unit enhances product quality and productivity, reinforcing its position in the electric vehicle market.

As AITO continues to pioneer the field of intelligent new energy vehicles, it merges traditional luxury with technological innovation, redefining luxury in the automotive sector and setting new standards for intelligent mobility experiences globally.
