ELECQ Showcases Smart EV Charging at Italy’s KEY 2025

ELECQ, a leading provider of smart charging infrastructure, is making its European debut at Italy’s KEY 2025 – The Energy Transition Expo. Following a successful launch in North America, the company is introducing its range of advanced charging solutions tailored for the European market.

Attendees at the Rimini Expo Centre from 5-7 March can explore ELECQ’s latest offerings, including the ELECQ Home, ELECQ Biz, DC Station 60, ELECQ Ready, and ELECQ Power Monitor. The company aims to simplify electric vehicle (EV) charging while enhancing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Designed for Easy Installation and Efficiency

ELECQ’s chargers are built to meet European standards, with CE certification ensuring compliance and safety. The company’s CEO, Simon Wan, described the solutions as “revolutionary” in their ability to simplify installation and reduce maintenance costs.

A key feature is the ELECQ Home charger, which incorporates a modular snap-in design, allowing installation in under ten minutes without professional assistance. This makes it a convenient option for homeowners seeking a hassle-free charging solution.

Business and Fleet Charging Solutions

For commercial and fleet applications, the ELECQ Biz charger offers robust connectivity and dynamic load management. It can be deployed across networks of up to 500 chargers, optimising energy use and potentially reducing electricity costs by up to 30%.

The company’s fast-charging solution, the DC Station 60, introduces an innovative zero-granularity power-sharing system. This technology enables the charger to distribute energy efficiently across multiple vehicles without waste. Designed to support simultaneous charging, it can operate as a standalone unit or be integrated with other stations to enhance flexibility.

Smart Integration for Future-Proof Charging

ELECQ’s product suite includes the ELECQ Ready and ELECQ Power Monitor, designed to enhance convenience and infrastructure planning. ELECQ Ready simplifies the deployment of charging stations by allowing pre-mounting of the backplate, enabling easy future expansion. This aligns with the latest Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, supporting Europe’s push for more accessible EV infrastructure.

Meanwhile, the ELECQ Power Monitor tracks real-time energy consumption, balancing household and charging loads to prevent overloads and manage costs more effectively.

Software-Driven Energy Management

Beyond hardware, ELECQ offers a suite of digital tools, including the Elecq App, Elecq Partner App, and Elecq Cloud. These provide real-time monitoring, remote diagnostics, and advanced energy management features. The platform supports vehicle-to-grid (V2G) functionality and enables users to optimise charging based on renewable energy availability.

A Key Moment for ELECQ in Europe

ELECQ’s presence at KEY 2025 marks a significant step in the company’s expansion into Europe. Its emphasis on sustainability, smart connectivity, and cost-effective energy management is expected to contribute to the growth of electric mobility on the continent.

Visitors can experience ELECQ’s solutions firsthand at stand A2-111 at the Rimini Expo Centre. More information is available at www.elecq.com.
