RuggON Corporation has unveiled its latest innovation, the VIKING II, a rugged fleet management device designed to meet the most demanding industrial needs. With a combination of powerful technology and unparalleled durability, the VIKING II is poised to transform operations in industries such as logistics, mining, construction, and public safety.

At the heart of the VIKING II is the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 6490 Octa-Core Processor, providing exceptional processing power for data-heavy tasks. Running on Android 14, it ensures a smooth user experience, supported by Google Mobile Services (GMS) certification. This makes the device not only powerful but also compatible with a wide range of apps, allowing businesses to manage their fleets more efficiently and effectively.

Engineered to endure even the harshest environments, the VIKING II boasts an IP65 rating, ensuring that it is both dust and water-resistant. Whether it’s exposed to high temperatures, rough terrain, or inclement weather, the device is built to keep working. It also features 5G and SATCOM connectivity, allowing for uninterrupted communication and real-time data transfer, even in remote or off-grid locations. These advanced connectivity options ensure that businesses can stay connected no matter where their fleets operate.

In addition to robust connectivity, the VIKING II integrates multi-GNSS support, including Dead Reckoning and RTK technology. This allows the device to offer precise location tracking, even in GPS-denied environments like tunnels or urban canyons. These features are critical for industries that operate in challenging geographical conditions, where conventional GPS systems may struggle.

The VIKING II also integrates a range of useful features designed to streamline fleet management. It includes a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), which helps ensure that tyres are properly inflated, improving both vehicle safety and tyre lifespan. The device also features NFC capabilities, remote door control, and a secondary display, all of which simplify day-to-day operations, reducing costs and improving overall efficiency.

Real-time tracking features enable businesses to keep a close eye on fleet performance, improving on-time delivery and overall service levels. The device’s advanced functionalities go beyond basic tracking, providing a comprehensive solution to fleet management that helps businesses improve safety, sustainability, and profitability.

By combining multiple functions into a single device, RuggON is helping businesses optimise their fleet operations. The VIKING II is set to reduce the need for multiple pieces of equipment, streamlining workflows and simplifying maintenance. As industries face increasing pressure to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs, the VIKING II offers a solution that delivers both performance and reliability.

RuggON is inviting businesses to learn more about the VIKING II and its capabilities. For further information, interested parties can visit the RuggON website or follow updates from Ubiqconn Technology.
