Chinese construction machinery giant Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co. has announced a major milestone in its 2025 growth strategy, with the delivery of over 10,000 units of equipment worth 5.7 billion yuan (US$782 million). The delivery, which took place on February 7 at Zoomlion Smart Industrial City’s headquarters in Changsha, marks a significant achievement for the company, reinforcing its position as a global leader in high-end construction and industrial machinery.

Zoomlion’s diverse range of machinery was distributed across multiple sectors, underscoring its broad capabilities in the construction industry. The company’s Hoisting Machinery Business Unit led the delivery with the shipment of over 850 cranes valued at 1.8 billion yuan (US$247 million). A highlight of the delivery was the dispatch of the world’s largest 4,000-ton all-terrain crane, a groundbreaking innovation that is the only model in the world legally allowed to operate on public roads. This crane will be deployed in Shaanxi Province for a large wind power installation project.

The Concrete Machinery Business Unit also had a strong showing, dispatching over 1,200 units worth a total of one billion yuan (US$137 million). Among the most notable items were the five-bridge, 73-metre lightweight concrete pump, which is the longest boom in the lightweight series, as well as various mixer trucks and pump trucks ranging from 38 to 50 metres. These units will be deployed in key construction projects throughout China, with exports heading to countries including Australia, Nigeria, Mexico, Brazil, and Peru.

In addition to its achievements in hoisting and concrete machinery, Zoomlion also delivered over 1,300 earthmoving and mining machinery units, valued at 900 million yuan (US$123.5 million). The shipment included 38-ton excavators and the ZT160HEV, the world’s first 100-ton wide-body mining dump truck. These units are en route to mining and construction sites across the globe, further solidifying Zoomlion’s presence in international markets.

Zoomlion’s Aerial Work Platform (AWP) Business Unit shipped over 1,100 units valued at nearly 300 million yuan (US$41.16 million), led by the 72-metre straight-boom aerial work platform. The fleet of scissor lifts, straight booms, and articulated boom lifts will be distributed to key markets globally.

The company’s tower crane intelligent factory also marked a successful delivery, with orders valued at 700 million yuan (US$96 million), 70 percent of which were destined for overseas markets, highlighting the strong demand for Zoomlion’s products abroad. Additionally, other business units from Zoomlion’s industrial parks across China delivered a variety of equipment, including foundation construction machinery and agricultural machinery, to customers both domestically and internationally.

This large-scale delivery event is a clear reflection of Zoomlion’s accelerating international expansion strategy. By continuously innovating and offering world-class solutions, the company is expanding its footprint in markets across North America, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific. Zoomlion’s robust product offering and ability to meet the growing global demand for high-end construction and industrial equipment ensure that it remains at the forefront of the industry.
