SANY launches ST230V skid steer loader for global markets

SANY Heavy Industry has unveiled its latest innovation, the ST230V skid steer loader, designed specifically for the European, American, and Canadian markets. The machine, engineered for versatility and performance in high-density urban environments, is set to boost efficiency in construction, municipal services, and agriculture.

The compact yet powerful ST230V is tailored to meet the growing challenges of land constraints, rising labour costs, and environmental regulations. It is designed for use in tight spaces where larger equipment cannot operate, making it ideal for infrastructure projects, historic city centres, and demanding industrial applications.

Designed for diverse terrains and climates

The ST230V has been developed with regional adaptability in mind, addressing the specific needs of the North American and European markets.

  • North America: The loader is equipped with attachments including a wood chipper and snowplough, enabling year-round use in sectors such as farming, road maintenance, and emergency snowstorm response.
  • Europe: With a 360-degree steering system, the ST230V is designed for use in narrow streets and historic districts, where precision is key. It also offers low-noise electric attachments, ensuring compliance with EU environmental regulations, particularly for projects in green energy and urban construction.

Boosting efficiency with advanced technology

The ST230V features a modular quick-change system, allowing operators to switch between 12 different attachments—including cold milling machines and sweepers—in just 20 seconds. This rapid adaptability reduces equipment downtime and maximises productivity.

Its high-performance hydraulic system delivers a 120L/min flow rate and 53.7kW of power, a 15% increase over competitors, making it suitable for demanding tasks such as de-icing roads in North America and breaking hard pavements in Europe.

Commitment to safety, sustainability, and customer service

SANY has ensured that the ST230V meets global safety and environmental standards, including CE certification and EPA Tier 4 Final emissions compliance. It is also fitted with an anti-tipping control system, developed at SANY’s North American R&D centre, to enhance operational safety.

To support its growing customer base, SANY has established six regional parts centres across Germany and the United States. The company also guarantees a four-hour response time for service requests and provides 24-hour multilingual customer support.

In addition to an industry-leading warranty, SANY offers onsite servicing, with technicians available for 300-mile (482km) roundtrip service calls, minimising downtime for operators.

A spokesperson from SANY’s international business division described the ST230V as “not just a machine, but a scenario-based solution” tailored to industry needs. “By combining China’s smart manufacturing with German engineering precision, we are redefining the value benchmark for compact equipment worldwide.”

With its cutting-edge technology and customer-focused service approach, the ST230V is poised to strengthen SANY’s position in the global construction and industrial equipment market.
