Secure collaboration specialist Wire has announced a strategic partnership with GMT94, one of the most successful endurance motorcycle racing teams. The sponsorship marks a union of two brands that prioritise precision, performance, and innovation in their respective fields.

The collaboration extends beyond a traditional sponsorship, highlighting the parallels between elite motorsport and secure enterprise communication. Both Wire and GMT94 operate in high-pressure environments where speed, trust, and efficiency are critical. While GMT94’s riders rely on precision engineering to stay competitive on the track, Wire’s customers depend on cutting-edge secure communication tools to navigate complex business challenges.

Shared Values of Precision and Innovation

Benjamin Schilz, CEO of Wire, emphasised the similarities between motorsport and cybersecurity.

“In racing, as in cybersecurity, the smallest details make the biggest difference. Every second and every decision counts. GMT94 operates in an environment where trust, innovation, and performance determine success. These values align perfectly with Wire’s mission to deliver best-in-class secure communication for organisations that cannot afford to fail,” he said.

As part of the sponsorship, Wire will accompany GMT94 throughout its racing season, offering behind-the-scenes content and industry insights. The company will also provide select event opportunities for customers, including a hospitality experience at the Donington Park race in July, giving guests a closer look at elite motorsport.

A New Era for Supersport Racing

GMT94 Team Manager Christophe Guyot highlighted the importance of innovation in motorcycle racing, particularly in light of the evolving Supersport World Championship.

“Wire joined us in 2024 to prepare for the arrival of the new-generation Supersport World Championship. Motorcycle sport must be a driving force behind the development needed to meet the economic and environmental challenges of today. This new championship will feature production bikes, allowing us to focus on reducing tyre and fuel consumption. This will help lower the cost and carbon footprint of future road vehicles,” said Guyot.

The collaboration will also feature a video series titled ‘The Winning Mindset’, which will explore the connections between high-performance racing and secure enterprise communication. The series will include interviews with GMT94’s riders and Wire’s cybersecurity experts, offering insight into the mentality required to excel in competitive environments.

A Partnership Built on Trust

Schilz described the sponsorship as more than just brand alignment, calling it a statement of shared values.

“Whether securing digital conversations or engineering a winning superbike, Wire and GMT94 believe that precision, innovation, and trust are the foundation of success,” he said.

Guyot echoed this sentiment, emphasising the role of teamwork in both industries.

“Beyond the human values we share, Wire and GMT94 have the same ambition to succeed using the same tools—precision and attention to detail under extreme pressure. In both business and top-level sport, team spirit and mutual trust are the keys to victory,” he concluded.

With the partnership now in place, Wire and GMT94 aim to push the boundaries of performance, both on the racetrack and in the world of secure communication.
