Geely Auto has announced a significant milestone for 2024, with its annual sales reaching 2.17 million units, marking a 32% increase year-on-year. The company’s international business performed exceptionally well, posting a record high of 403,923 units exported—up 53% from last year’s results.
The impressive growth follows Geely’s strategic global expansion, which saw the company extend its reach to over 80 countries and regions, entering more than 10 new markets. Geely has also reinforced its existing presence in regions such as the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Latin America, solidifying its position as a major player in the global automotive industry. Additionally, the company introduced 16 new vehicle models across more than 40 countries, underscoring its commitment to delivering high-quality vehicles tailored to the diverse needs of consumers around the world.
Strengthening Global Footprint
Geely Auto’s efforts to strengthen its global presence have been reflected in its expanded sales and service network, which now spans approximately 900 locations—a 69% increase from the end of 2023. The company has also made significant strides in enhancing its regional operations, with the construction of two new factories in Asia and Africa. Furthermore, Geely has launched four new subsidiaries in Indonesia, Australia, the Philippines, and Chile, further enhancing its local market access and operational capabilities.
The company’s expansion is supported by a state-of-the-art global parts network, featuring a central hub and five strategically located overseas facilities, which are designed to optimise the supply chain and improve efficiency.

Geely Auto’s flagship models have been instrumental in driving its sales growth. The Coolray, for example, reached an impressive milestone of 1 million units sold and is now present in 51 countries. It continues to rank among the top three in its segment in six key markets. Meanwhile, the Monjaro has seen exports surge by 150% year-on-year, highlighting the strong demand for its luxurious design and powerful performance. The Emgrand, another popular model, continues to dominate the A-sedan segment, ranking in the top three in nine key markets. The Geely EX5 has garnered global attention, with appearances at major international automotive events such as Automechanika Frankfurt and the Hong Kong IMXPO.

In 2024, the number of Geely users surpassed 16 million, a testament to the brand’s success in creating a loyal customer base.
