Genesis has announced a new collaboration with Bloomberg Media to introduce an in-car app that provides exclusive access to Bloomberg’s news and entertainment content. The service, which debuts on the newly designed Electrified G80 on September 25 in South Korea, will roll out across other Genesis models over the next year. Models included in the expansion are the G90, G80, GV80, GV80 Coupe, GV70, Electrified GV70, and GV60.

This strategic partnership offers drivers a convenient and streamlined way to stay informed, bringing Bloomberg’s trusted global news, analysis, and entertainment into the vehicle. The app, integrated via Over-the-Air (OTA) updates, will initially launch in South Korea before expanding to Europe by Q2 2025.

The in-car app will provide users with access to Bloomberg TV+, Bloomberg Originals, and a News Feed displaying real-time headlines. Notably, Genesis drivers will not need to log in or create new accounts to access the content, making it an easy and seamless experience for all.

This collaboration is part of Genesis’s ongoing commitment to enhancing its owners’ driving experience, combining luxury with the latest in digital media innovation. Bloomberg’s comprehensive content offering, which includes its award-winning business news and exclusive programming, will now be available at the touch of a button within Genesis cars.

For select models, Genesis will also offer “Annual Access,” a digital subscription package providing unrestricted access to Bloomberg’s digital services. Owners of the Electrified G80 will be the first to receive this benefit, followed by G90, G80, GV80, and GV80 Coupe owners. This will allow users to enjoy Bloomberg’s premium content both inside their vehicles and on any personal devices, ensuring a comprehensive information service that keeps them connected on the go.

Commenting on the partnership, a Genesis spokesperson highlighted the brand’s focus on providing innovative solutions for a modern driving experience, stating: “We are proud to collaborate with Bloomberg Media to offer an in-car media experience that not only enhances driving pleasure but also keeps our customers informed with high-quality, trusted news and entertainment.”

The integration of Bloomberg’s services into Genesis’s premium range of cars represents a significant step forward in car infotainment. It allows owners to stay up to date with critical information and entertainment while enjoying the brand’s hallmark luxury. With the ongoing expansion across additional models and markets, Genesis continues to position itself as a leader in blending cutting-edge technology with a refined driving experience.

By Q2 2025, European drivers will have access to the app, as Genesis aims to establish the service across international markets. With this collaboration, Genesis demonstrates its commitment to transforming the in-car experience into an engaging and informative journey for its users.
